HBCU Homecoming energy is coming to Summer of Soul.


Culture x Design’s Summer of Soul returns to Peck Pavilion for a special HBCU Homecoming MKE celebration presented by Northwestern Mutual, featuring Zo! & Tall Black Guy feat. Debórah Bond, with DJ Bizzon providing the vibes all night long.


This free community celebration honors the spirit, legacy, and cultural pride of Historically Black Colleges and Universities while spotlighting Northwestern Mutual’s Hometown HBCU Connection scholarship program.


Come ready for live music, community, line dancing, drumline energy from Milwaukee Hittaz Drum Corp., and an official HBCU Roll Call curated by Courtney Kelly of Rochelle Events & Consulting.
